Meet Will

I work with adults who are experiencing emotional overwhelm, complex life stress, or a sense that familiar ways of coping are no longer sufficient. Many of the individuals I see arrive at moments of transition—when symptoms, circumstances, or inner conflict call for both relief and deeper understanding.

My approach integrates psychiatric care and psychotherapy, with attention to both symptom stabilization and the psychological meaning of what you are experiencing. Treatment is collaborative and paced thoughtfully, with care grounded in clinical judgment, respect, and curiosity.

Clinical Background

I have worked as a nurse for 18 years and as a nurse practitioner for 12 of those years. My clinical experience includes emergency-trauma centers within LA County, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and academic research institutions. I have cared for individuals affected by HIV, practiced transgender and LGBTQ+ healthcare, and worked extensively with complex medical and psychosocial presentations.

I am fully bilingual and offer care in both English and Spanish.

Who I Commonly Work With

My practice serves adults (ages 18–65), including:

  • Individuals living with chronic or complex medical conditions

  • Those navigating trauma, grief, or major life transitions

  • Queer and non-binary folx

  • First-generation in the US

  • First responders and healthcare professionals

  • Individuals seeking meaning-centered or depth-oriented psychiatric care

Psychotherapy

My work is informed by depth-oriented and somatic psychotherapy, meditation practice, and ongoing training in Jungian analysis. I value the depth of relationship that develops through mutual listening and reflective engagement, and I see psychological symptoms not only as problems to eliminate, but as experiences that can be understood and integrated over time.

Non-Ordinary States and Integration

My background includes clinical research in psychedelic-assisted therapy and a five-year apprenticeship in the Shipibo-Konibo tradition of the Eastern Peruvian Amazon. This work informs how I support preparation and integration of non-ordinary states of consciousness when relevant, while remaining grounded in ethical, legal, and evidence-based psychiatric practice.
