This initial visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation designed to understand you as a whole person while remaining grounded in sound clinical care. We will take time to explore your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, and life context, with attention to what you hope to change or better understand.
By the end of our visit, we will collaboratively outline a clear and individualized treatment plan. Depending on your needs, this may include thoughtful medication recommendations, psychotherapy, or targeted lifestyle considerations that support emotional stability and well-being.
Any additional testing or interventions are discussed transparently and pursued only when clinically appropriate and aligned with your goals.
There is no obligation to pursue medication or additional services beyond what feels appropriate for you.

These extended follow-up visits provide time for either integrated psychotherapy or a more in-depth review of your psychiatric care. Sessions focus on assessing your progress, addressing ongoing concerns, and making thoughtful adjustments to your treatment plan as needed.
Depending on your goals, sessions may include psychotherapy, medication review and optimization, discussion of sleep and daily routines, or reflective work that supports emotional insight and integration. All elements of care are guided by clinical relevance and your stated priorities.
The focus of each visit is collaborative and tailored; not every element is addressed at every session.

Psychotherapy
-
Jungian psychotherapy is a depth-oriented approach that supports self-understanding by exploring emotional patterns, relationships, dreams, and the symbolic life of the psyche. The focus is on integration and meaning, not only symptom reduction.
Somatic psychotherapy, including Hakomi-informed work, brings gentle, mindful attention to bodily experience as a way of understanding emotions held beyond words. This work is collaborative, non-invasive, and paced according to your readiness.
Together, these approaches support emotional regulation, psychological integration, and a more grounded relationship to self and experience.
No prior experience with depth or somatic therapy is required.

Integration Work
-
Integration work provides a reflective and supportive space to make meaning of non-ordinary states of consciousness. This may include experiences related to meditation, psychotherapy, illness, spiritual practice, or other significant inner events.
My approach to integration is informed by clinical research in psychedelic-assisted therapy and long-term training in traditional contemplative and ceremonial contexts. This background helps guide careful preparation, reflection, and psychological integration, while remaining grounded in ethical, legal, and evidence-based psychiatric practice.
The focus of this work is integration—supporting insight, coherence, and stability by helping meaningful experiences become part of everyday life rather than remaining isolated or destabilizing. This work is collaborative, paced, and oriented toward lasting psychological change.
This service does not involve the administration of any substances.
